       This Extended Warranty is only applicable for products purchased within one of the following territories: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and United Kingdom.


Activate your premium service

Thank you for purchasing a premium services contract with Sony. Only a few more steps to activate it, and you can enjoy all benefits of it. To continue, please type in your activation code (e.g. DICARDACTEW1-VRGZ8G-QTBZRW) . Consult our Questions and Answers if you have trouble finding or activating your code.

Option 1: MySony product registration mail (camera products only):

For some Camera products you may receive an extra year of warranty upon registration (terms & conditions apply). Find more information on this topic here.

If you do not find your activation code or if you never received the email with it, please check your spam folder. If you never received the registration email, please contact us.


Option 2: You purchased an Extended warranty card.

On the back of the extended warranty card.

Note:The following models are not elegible for the Sony extended service plans:

  • Televisions: KD-77A1, KD-85ZG9, KD-98ZG9, KD-100ZD9
  • Cameras, camcorders and lenses: ILME-FX3, ILME-FX6V, SELC1635G, SEL400F28GM, SEL600F40GM, SAL300F28G2 and SAL500F40G
For alternative extended service plans applicable to these specific models, please consult your dealer.


If you did not receive your activation code after registering your product or entering a campaign, please ensure to check the following:

  • Ensure you have registered the correct model name and serial number on your Sony account – you can find where to locate your model and serial number in this article.
  • Ensure you have entered the correct email address and check your spam folders.

If you received an email confirming your product registration, but the email did not include an activation code, please contact us and confirm the following:

  • Name
  • Model & Serial Number
  • Email Address
  • Date of Purchase
Our team can then verify your details and send a new code if needed.


If you have difficulties activating your code, please contact us.


If you have a 5-year Extended Warranty (only available in the United Kingdom) which is pre-registered between your dealer and Sony,we may still need to activate your new TV in our system. Please contact us to personalize your contract and provide us with the exact purchase date.
