New design

A refreshed Home screen that's customisable and more streamlined. The update features re-organised app and input shelves, a clearer graphical interface for the volume display, and overall, an improved user interface.

USB stick or hard disk drive (HDD) as expandable memory

Move apps / games to USB stick or HDDs: Easily transfer apps and games to portable storage devices.

NOTES:
• 1. USB or HDDs will be initiated once plugged into the TV. Please backup saved data from the USB or HDD in a safe place
• 2. Games and apps downloaded onto these types of devices cannot be used anymore if the USB stick or HDD is removed. To access the content, re-insert the device back into the TV
• 3. Availability of this feature depends on the app

Programmes categorised by genre

Programmes are now grouped by genre, making it easier to sort and find your favourite TV shows.

Smart Help function

Pressing the Help button on your remote control, immediately takes you to Smart Help, the graphically overhauled help centre. Smart help quickly allows you to pinpoint and resolve common issues you might be experiencing and offers quick troubleshooting solutions you can try first-hand.

Other changes

Album access rights: On-screen authorisation box appears when using a microphone or USB device with your Album folder.

Key notes

• 1. Downloading this software is entirely up to the user’s discretion
• 2. You cannot revert back to the previous operating system (OS) after performing this update
• 3. Some settings may be altered after this update
