The ND (Natural Density) filter reduces the amount of light going into the lens to prevent the picture going out of focus under bright conditions. The digital camcorder will automatically sense the need for ND filter and provide an indication in the viewfinder.
Neodymium Magnet Tweeter
Neodymium is a rare earth metal that has extremely strong magnetic properties, making it ideal for use in speaker systems. Neodymium magnets combine maximum height with a light weight and offer considerably enhanced sensitivity.
Net MD is a format that allows the high-speed transfer (i.e., LP2 mode 16 times, LP4 mode 32 times) of audio data from a PC to a MiniDisc device over a USB cable using OpenMG® and MagicGate™ copyright protection technology.

NexTView (Electronic Programme Guide)

NightFraming combines three functions (NightShot, Hologram AF and Pre-flash exposure control) to obtain photographs in the dark. Framing with NightShot: shows the subject, even in complete darkness using infrared technology. Focusing with Hologram AF: when the shutter-release button is pushed halfway down, the camera focuses on the framed image using Hologram AF. A laser detects the edges of the subject, allowing the camera to focus on it correctly. Recording with Pre-flash: when the shutter-release button is fully depressed, the pre-flash fires. The exposure is then determined and the main flash goes off to capture a perfectly exposed, framed and focused image.
Noise-cancelling technology senses outside noise using tiny, built-in microphones and sends an equal-but-opposite cancelling signal to the headphone drivers. This effectively blocks continuous noise, ranging from 50-1.000Hz, which makes it especially suited to cancelling out noise from air conditioning systems, motorways and aeroplane cabins.
Noise Cancelling headphones reduce unwanted ambient sounds by means of active noise control. Up to 99% noise cancelling can be achieved. They act like ear plugs so it’s easy to switch off and unwind wherever you are – especially if you’re travelling.
Noise Cut technology
Enhances human speech for a much clearer audible range, and reduces distracting background noise, when taking a recording.
The original bandwidth is compressed before being sent by the transmitter. When it is received, the bandwidth is decompressed and hiss noise is reduced.
Noiseless Still/Slow Motion
Allows for crystal-clear freeze frame and slow motion on the LCD monitor.
A portable version of a full-specification PC. Unlike desktop computers and towers, the display, keyboard and input device (touch pad, mouse or similar) are integrated. Rechargeable batteries allow operation anywhere.
NR Slow Shutter
When taking photographs in extreme low-light conditions, for example with an exposure time of 10 seconds or more, this feature interprets and removes the noise generated within the image.
